I sure appreciate this thread, folks. Gonna tie my 1977 200 to the original three speed in my 1960 Ranchero for now. Mechanic buddy says I need a new pilot bearing throw out bearing and pilot bushing but clutch itself looks good. Danged sure appreciate the oil tube pickup data!

There ya go man! Lots of good info from some really knowledgeable folks. I'm a self proclaimed hack myself, so other than to say what has worked for me, take my advice as "how I do it not how to do it lol" I like the rancheros! I've got a 64 or 65 out in a barn I traded for a few years ago. I drove it to where it sits. Traded a 460 to fella for the car...I may pull it out this spring. It's got a 289 in it.
