Intake/exhaust bolt mismatch?

Maybe I’m just looking at nothing, but the area where the washer goes is not parallel. Is it normal? It’s not real far off, but enough that I noticed it.

Yes they don't line up exactly. Some aftermarket manifolds don't reach both sides of the washer at all, requires fab work.

I think some may match, but most do not.
You can get the manifolds milled to have the same thickness
or
fabricate stepped washers
or
if it's not to bad, live with sloped washers as long as you can get even pressure on both sides.
