Supercharger plumbing question

I know the principal of superchargers but the intake/plumbing has always confused me a bit but I think I'm getting the hang of it by keeping it simple. For example on a lightning motor you have the air box/maf intake going to the supercharger inlet similiar to the throttle body, the bottom of supercharger is connected to intake plenum. My idea/question is would using a custom manifold attached to the supercharger but relocated and run through an intercooler work? For example, with this photo of a smaller Eaton m62, imagine putting it next to the motor where the smog pump is(not on top of a intake manifold) if I made a box to attach to the "bottom" open area to the supercharger and a carb hat with intercooler piping and a front mount intercooler with drivers side outlet going back to the stock efi throttle body location. What do I do with the normal supercharger Intake? I'm assuming when the belt/pulley is driven it needs air intake to compress?would I run the air filter box to this supercharger inlet or another pipe from the intercooler? Where would the throttle body go exactly... This is more or less theoretical Im not sure if the m62 would be a properly sized supercharger for the 300 more just curious.

You can mount the supercharger on the driver side and route to the intercooler, then from the intercooler to a regular intake manifold like the Offenhauser, Clifford or Aussiespeed 4 barrel intake.

The throttle body MUST be on the intake side of the supercharger.
It can be a throttle body with port injection or a draw though using a Holley Super Sniper.

This is Clintonvillian's 300 with port injection.
In place of an intercooler, he is using the water/methanol injection system that is controlled by the Holley HP EFI system.

Read through this thread for all the details.

An Eaton M112 supercharger is the smallest unit for a 300 six.
An M122 would work well for higher boost level than is possible with the M112
