Craigwell- good morning. Had a realization out of nowhere that needs to be noted: IF you want to use a DP intake as Offy intended with the high velocity primaries isolated form the secondary runner, Holley Sniper will not work! All of their 4V TBI open all 4 barrels together- except the Quadrajet version. This is a big part of why on my son's small CID A block, the off-idle throttle response is too sensitive. The intended design of the DP will be negated with Sniper, except Qjet. The Q jet would be a good one to use on the DP, since the disproportional primary-to-secondary- throttle size closely mimics the disproportional runners in the DP. If the DP had the spread-bore flange and correct hole size and spacing as an option, there's a 100% chance I would use a Quadrajet carb.
