Had an issue converting the comet to 2bbl

once again 1963 comet MT 170, 2 bbl motorcraft off a 1967 289
did a mock up today had a couple problems, fuel hookup in now on passengers, no biggie, but the throttle linkage is in the front, what is the best way to solve this proplem, what parts do I need, also 2 vacume 1 on exhaust and one to destributer, what do I do with them. Is there a tutorial for thus conversion I can go over

8) did you use a 2v to 1v adapter or did you direct mount the carb? if you used an adapter turn it 90 degrees if you can so that the float bowl faces forward. then it is just a matter of fabbing up a new throttle rod. as for the vacuum ports, there is one that is full time vacuum and one ported vacuum port. i forget which one is which. then there should be a larger one for the pcv system.

turning 90 degrees wont work holes dont line up and it wont clear the valve covers, a lot of the carbs in the pics are orentied like mine I saw there was a cable just didn't know what cable to use
