So, I can get an NOS radiator for my 56 F100.
Great except it is for a V8, so I'll need to swap the bottom tanks to get the lower hose in the right place.
My question is this; does TFAA-8005-A1 decode as 54 thru 56 F100 V8?
That's what I think I see in the pics I have seen, but I would feel better if someone can confirm.

How old is the nos radiator? When I got my mustang, the radiator held water, looked pretty good, but when you touched the fins, it disintegrated. They turned to dust. It was from California, not like it was exposed to winter elements. And if you have to change the bottom tank, and new technology has given them the ability to cool better. IDK, I do understand the appeal of nos. I have several nos parts in my collection. Don’t get me going on the quality of replacement parts😡

Part of the appeal is that I recently scored a factory fan shroud.
Since it took me 54 years to find one, I'd like to able to use it.

I would think if you bought a new replacement radiator to fit your model and the fan shroud is for your model, it should all go together 🤞🤞

I’d like to see a pic of a 56 oem fan shroud 🤔.
Good to verify numbers too, different engine might be a different shroud

6 and 8 have different shrouds.
The 6 has the fan opening right at the bottom of the radiator, 8 is center/top.
