I have a 9" rear axle in a champ car project that purportedly came from a Bronco. The trouble is the axle dimensions do not exactly match anything I see listed.

Here are the specifications:|
9" rear - round back housing
5 x 5.5 bolt circle
11" x 1.75 brake shoes
2 375 x 3.5 x 1/2" bolt circle
big bearing ends 3.150" diameter
28 splines
30" length to wheel mounting flange

Does anybody know of a Bronco axle that matches this?

I'm beginning to think it may be a F-100 or F-150.

Hope this helps.
'66-75 (small brg,small brk) (28 spline) 1 3/4" brake r.h..29.62"
66-75 (small brg,small brk) (28 spline) 1 3/4" brake l.h..27.25"

66-75 (large brg,large brk) (28 spline) 1 3/4" brake r.h..29.31"
66-75 (large brg,large brk) (28 spline) 1 3/4" brake l.h..26.94"

so probably 29.31

fast,
Thanks. I need the LEFT hand axle that measures almost exactly 30", maybe 30 1/32". I think I will just order a custom axle from a specialty axle mfgr.

Update:
I had an axle custom made. The trouble is the bearing placement is wrong. I got that resolved with the manufacturer. In the mean time I would like to positively identify which brake assemblies I need for this axle. I know the brakes are for big bearing, 11 x 1.75" shoes and the backing plates are Bendix part # 305503-l for the left and 305504-R for the right. Does that help anybody positively identify my axle? Many thanks.
