Crossflow lower end similarities to a 1960's-1970's 3.3

A US 200 3.3 and a Crossflow uses the same rod bearings, not the main bearings.
What is the main bearing differences? Thrust bearing? Crossflow has the larger oil pump. Our crossflows had a rope rear main up until the last iteration, which came with a one piece lip seal. there was a crossover going on just as the SOHC was coming out.
 
All the 200 cubic inch Australian Cross flow sixes have a 250 US bottom end, same main journal sizes, 2.499. The thrust bearing is different, and that bearing won't interchange. The bearing crush rate is different. The bearings can be made to fit, but the thrust bearing would require modification.

The Australian crank has an earlier small 200 timing chain spigot of 1.248 inches, the US 250 has a Big Six, SBF , Cleveland, 351M and 400 and Big Block 370-429-460 Lima 1.375" spigot. Rope seal and conversion to nylon crank seal is usually fairly easy. The Dog Turd seal after October 1984 is a two year variety, then Ford copied the OHC seal on 4.1 liter engines made from early 1987 to 1992.

Ford Australia under Bill Bourke were given freedom to base the 200 and 250 engines on the US 250 block, but a lot of little parts are different. The Cross flow you have follows on from those decisions made in early 1971, so you've got a lot of options open to you.
