I didn't want to hijack my own thread...so new one...
All the talk about lowering the compression for forced air (thanks for all the good input) lead me to the compression calculator on falcon performance. When I go from my 9.5:1 to 7.5:1, I go from 127HP to 87HP. So my question is this. How accurate is that algorithm to calculate relative engine performance?
It got me thinking, because if I lose 30-40 HP, just to gain another 6 psi of boost, it almost is a wash on the performance gain.
