Howdy y'all. I ended up deciding to stick with the 3 speed toploader. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, and now I kind of like it.
Very clean, last owner reports it was freshly rebuilt. I never installed the transmission. Gears look good. input shaft is tight, and all forks shift smoothly with a firm clunk! Fresh red paint.
$450 $350 obo - proceeds directly fund my next brain fart project.
