All Small Six Best 2V adapter plate for efi

This relates to all small sixes
New here. There is a great deal on a complete FITech 39001 EFI setup in my area and I was looking to potentially put it on my 65 fb mustang with a 200i. Since it’s a 2V setup that is compatible with the 2300 flange I assume I could bolt it up using an adapter plate. Does anyone have feedback on the best one to purchase for such a conversion?

Whether the 200 is a small or large log six a better idea when using a bolt on carb adapter would be a small base Rochester type EFI that has the throttle bores closer together.

he said: "...a great deal on a complete FITech 39001 EFI setup..." a different Q.

2 twique this one - it might B:
"what are some of the best ways to set upa fitech ona C8xx 200?
First ID it isa '68 block / (& esp) head (for small log?).

Then ask how far the OP wants to take it (application:
Ie justa "set it'n forget it", DD? stop light to stop light? open hwy? canyon carver? BTW:
is the 39001 correct for this?

you will get some flak for using an adapter but here's my favorite from VintageInlines:

available for big or small log - nice design and machining for smooth transition, used with modified 2300 on the blown 250 Maverick.

( '63 wagon uses a 'Langdon Stovebolt" - $ 15.oo 2 X 1 adapter with a 32/36 clone on the HiPo 170 for @ 15 years. )

Classic Inlines dyno tests: "We gained a maximum of 5RWHP when we used an adaptor, and 24RWHP when the carb was mounted directly to the log intake, or a gain of 6% verses 24% respectively. That's a huge difference considering we used exactly the same carb."

Ended up going with the transdapt 2044. It was cheap enough where if it didn’t work out I would just go with the vintageinlines. It did take a little modification to fit, but dremmel made quick work of it. Hooking up the fitech was actually surprisingly simple, did have to switch to the v8 throttle arm. Most difficult part was trying to find a 12v key on. I tried to hook it up to the accessory post on the back of ignition switch, but for some reason it was constant 12v, which probably explains my parasitic drain issue. Hooked up a toggle switch as a temporary quick solution until I can hunt down the actual issue. Runs the best it ever has *knock on wood*. Thanks for all the input!

I used a trans dapt to start with on my 200 with a 2300 Sniper. Had to knock a dent in the valve cover for the throttle linkage as it sat cocked around some. Had to change to a vintage inline to square it up & put a pheonlic spacer on to get it up enough to clear my Ford raceing Alumn valve cover.
