Both my AC compressor and alternator are on the right side of the 250 I6 in my 66 Mustang (I don't have power steering or any other belt-driven accessories). I'm concerned about water pump wear with both of those accessories pulling to one side and am hoping to find a way to move the alternator to the other side to balance the pull. I found a photo (below) of a spiffy left-side alternator mount but there's no information about the bracket or the owner. So I am hoping someone here can point me to a source.
I have the OE "giant wad of steel" bracket that held the power steering and ac on the left side that engine, but don't want to use it because it obstructs the oil filter and is much larger (and uglier) than I want/need.
