Hello all, I recently purchased a 1982 Mercury Zephyr Z7 with a 200 and an C5 (I think). The car runs really good, just seams sluggish (have not had the carb tuned for AZ yet, car came from WA). I want to improve driveability and reliability, with maybe an increase in power later on (believe the car has an honest 73k miles) and I am wondering if the Sniper 1100 would be a good fit on the newer 200 or should I get an adapter and put on the 2300 instead.
Right now the motor is bone stock, but was thinking that adding EFI and maybe the HEI distributor might improve the reliability and driveability, just want to be able to jump in it and go anywhere. Any thoughts, has someone already done this?
