Wish it was closer to West Texas, I'm curious how they shoehorned a 250 into there...

to get the 250 in an early car, the firewall may need tweaking.

The 250 is longer due to WP and taller by @ 2" (deck height). Firewall needed BFH on the '61 to get the 250's larger (SBF) bellhouse but was easily 'formed' since needed knockin' inward slightly . Otherwise, the steering center link interferes with 250 starter and the under engine "belly bar" interferes with oil pan unless re positioned. "your mileage may vary"
