For Sale 3 Totally rebuilt HP Quadrajets

During the pandemic I rebuilt 3 Quadrajets to keep boredom at bay. Each is one a 1975-1980 model with the 1705 prefix in the serial #. Each has had throttle shaft bushings installed and primary and secondary shafts. Each has had several mods done to it like having the idle mix holes enlarged to flow more for a HP engine. The secondary linkage has been modified so the secondary plates are fully open at full throttle. Each comes with a written list of the specs and mods. These have been wrapped in plastic since work was done. I have no use for them. You pay for postage for 1 or all three, and they are yours.

I will gladly take these if no one else has spoken for them. I am in Missouri. My old man is a Chevy guy and has a lot of experience with Qjets. Did you have plans to use these on a 300? Or just tinkering around? My old man is always telling me how a Qjet could be made to would work well on a 300, and able to be had cheaper than holleys and Edelbrocks.

In the back of my mind I always think about installing on my hp 300, but I now have a good running carb on there and see no reason to change. I enjoy working on Qjets, and these kept me from dying of boredom during the pandemic. I'll throw in an electric choke and the fuel line fitting. I'll send you 2 of them. Let me check on the cost of shipping, and I'll get back to you. Thx.

If either of these fall through, I'd like one.
Had sent a PM earlier.

Just checked my PM- it was a few minutes after xr650jkallen's post above. . . darn.

For some reason I cannot figure out how to send a PM. I do not see the option anywhere, I am using the mobile version though.

Nevermind, I found my answer in the forum rules.
You can pass the carburetor along to another forum member if needed, I dont want to post pointlessly just to get my numbers up in order to send you a PM. Much appreciated either way.

I believe after 5 posts you're all good, unless things have changed.
