I am new to the forum and not sure if this is the correct place to post.
I recently bought a a 1929 Mercedes SSK Replica. This is Pinto powered with a 4 speed transmission. My intent was to put a small block Ford in it but really think there is not enough room to get it in there.
Second thought is to install a V6.
My question is, should I do a V6 conversion or leave the 4 cylinder Pinto in it. I was told that it is a 2.0L 4 cylinder but have no idea what year.
any thoughts?

Welcome to the Ford Six forums Pace, can you post some pictures of the engine or look for the short block casting / design numbers this would get you close to the year of the engine. Many of those had the 2.0L Pinto and .4 speed I think some also used a 2300 Pinto tgat would be a good swap there is lots of hop up parts for them and the later Rangers and Mustang Fox chassis car used those engines with a 5 speed should be plenty of power to push such a same light weight car. Best of luck
