If thats the case then an easy sefi system will be sweet, my preference over carbsIf you have that Lathe to use to machine out the weight its possible they were a 50 Oz. Imbalance if I remember correctly.
Its because it is a 30-1 wheel rather than not having it or as ive heard a 4 pointIs that 2001 5.0 / 302 Damper any cheaper than using the (late 1995,1996,1997, 4.9 / 300 damper?
See im looking to use my spare 4.0 harness and ecm which uses the same exact 30 - 1 as the 302 damper, its for an ohv maf truck, im going to maf swap my f350, and the ecm is tuneable by j3 so its there, i just wanted to make sure that i could nuetral balance itThe late 1995 1/2,1996,1997, 4.9 / 300 models damper should have the 3 point wheel on the back of it.
Re-count. 36-1 is what is offered for a 2001 5.0 Explorer, and all the Essex-based I can find.
Belt grooves may not be in the correct location.
Amateur fiddling with a high speed chunk of iron is a potentially dangerous game.
Universal reluctor wheels are available, and can be easily adapted to the 96-ish balancer.

RockAuto ships auto parts and body parts from over 300 manufacturers to customers' doors worldwide, all at warehouse prices. Easy to use parts catalog.www.rockauto.com
And it's still got the wrong drive belt offset, and harmonic tuning for a big six vs small eight...
Using a 96 4.9 one with a universal reluctor, seems a lot less effort.
